Winvian Estate is a luxuriously unique concept hotel nestled in the historic town of Litchfield, Connecticut just hours outside of New York City. Sprawling a 113 acre landscape of open pasture and orchard, forests, lakes and stone paths and walls, Winvian’s 18 luxurious cottages were designed by 15 different architects, with the goal of providing a plush, Seuss-like playground for adults.

Each of the ultra luxurious cottages is based on a unique concept and include Library, Treehouse, Helicopter and Camping themes. In Camping stars illuminate the ceiling and marshmallows are laid out for roasting in the fireplace. Alternatively you may choose to wake up in The Treehouse, perched 35 feet off the ground.

The magnificent cuisine of international chef Chris Eddy and the 130 variety wine cellar, which guests have unlimited access to, are stand out aspects of the hotel, as is the guest-only health spa with Eva Lom facials. All cabins have flat-screen TVs that retract into a mantle, espresso machines, and Bose sound systems.

Guests can choose to rent a single concept cabin or the whole property for special occasions if they wish.

Rates include all meals and accompanying beverages (wine and Spa services are extra) and unlimited use of the hotel's facilities inlcuding Fly-fishing, hiking equipment, guided nature walks, games room, croquet, badminton, quoits and horseshoes, playground room in Spa, Snowhsoes and cross-country skis. Additionally activities including horse-back riding, canoeing, golf, tennis and guided river Fly fishing can be arranged. The property also includes a separate 1,265-square-foot boardroom cottage with a 26-foot conference table and a converted barn with a catering kitchen.
