Dhoni Mighili is a luxury resort on a private island in the Maldives. With only six luxuriously appointed bungalows it offers the utmost in luxury and privacy. It is also the only island in the whole of the Maldives that can be booked on an exclusive basis.

Each luxury bungalow comes with its own luxury Dhoni. A Dhoni is a 65ft traditionally handcrafted Maldivian sail boat and offer complete elegance and indulgence to guests. The Dhoni has comfy day beds on the bow to relax in the sun, as well as this it is completely air-conditioned and has a King Size bed in the beautifully decorated cabins. In the cabins there is also a TV and DVD for your entertainment. On board is also your own private butler who will transform the deck at night time for under the stars dining and will look after your every whim during your stay.

The beach bungalows are thatched and set in tropical gardens and offer magnificent views over the water. These are also completely air- conditioned and also include fans, espresso machine, private bar, outdoor dining, and a sound system with Ipod. They also have a deep bath which leads to a private courtyard and outdoor shower. Out of the 6 beach bungalows, four of them have their own private fresh water plunge pool also, as well as a larger private court yard.

Dhoni Mighili can be hired out privately, and in this case will cater for 2 - 24 people. Children under 16 years old are not catered for, unless the whole island is hired for private use. The prices listed are per night for an individual bungalow. To rent the whole island privately the price is between USD$12600 - USD$25400 per night (for up to 24 people).

As you would expect to find on a tropical island paradise, there are a myriad of water sport activities to partake in. These include scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing. On the island there is also an extensive DVD and CD library available for guests to peruse. Dhoni Mighili also arranges local performances for the guests – there is a weekly feature of traditional singing and Bodu Beru drumming on the beach. During your stay at Dhoni Mighili, you will have your own personal butler who is called a “Thakuru”. They are there to look after your every need. There is also a world class Spa on the island with a wide range of treatments on offer. There is one outdoor Undholige (Maldivian resting shelter) with relaxation bed and one indoor treatment suite with relaxation bed and juice bar.
