Frégate Island is a beautiful luxury Private Island with 16 exclusive villas situated in the Seychelles. Frégate is just 20 minutes from Mahé and has its own airstrip for light aircraft and helicopters. Nevertheless, the island remains a sanctuary for calm – an oasis of peace within a busy world.

Construction of the resort was subject to strict regulations to safeguard the environment and the preservation and protection of the island's unique flora and fauna continues to be amongst Frégate's main priorities. With no more than 40 guests at any one time and no day visitors, guests are invited to experience the rare treat of luxury, security and seclusion within the natural beauty of a tropical island setting.

Frégate Island is home to some of the world's rarest flora & fauna. Frégate also has its own source of freshwater and most of the fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs consumed on the island are homegrown.

Amenities & Activites

Frégate Island offers a host of activities on, in and under the water. FRESH POOLS & BEACHES: There are two freshwater pools and seven beaches - one of which, Anse Victorin, is renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. WATER SPORTS: Discover another world while snorkeling, explore the ocean aboard a hobie cat or kayak, go game fishing aboard the island's launches, Fregate Bird and Little Fregate or take a boat trip to explore a remote island. GYM & LIBRARY: For those who prefer to stay ashore there is a fully equipped gym and an extensive library. EXPLORATION: Guests can also climb Mount Signal, with a summit of 125 metres, or enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Seychelles aboard a helicopter or a small aircraft. YOUNGSTERS: Frégate's Cast Away Club keeps younger guests entertained with outdoor activities, crafts and cookery that immerse them in their own tropical island fantasy. THE MARINA: Fregate's Yacht Club, Marina and PADI Dive Centre are situated on the lower plateau of the island, opposite the plantation. Both Sailing and motor yachts take guests to the numerous dive sites around the island. The marina overlooks a turquoise lagoon, protected by a small reef which restricts the waves and makes the beach here particularly safe for swimmers, snorkellers and beginner divers.
